Spark Review
The trip at the spark was an eye-opener. Knowing that there was technology functional for fabric manipulation is something I want to take advantage of while I'm still a student at WSU. The laser etching and laser cutting machines are what I'll be taking advantage of the most for my designs. 3-D printing is also an option for fun and creative details or accessories. I was very intrigued and, I can't wait to utilize the innovative space.
Denim Redesign Update
I have started on my project with pinning and sewing some of my pieces together to make my ideas come to life. I am close to laser cutting some of my panels to add fraying as an element. While working, I decided to pleat some of my fabric to add another element to the design. So far, I am on track and excited to finish this project.
